La Napoule Art Foundation published Listening to the Château, my testimony from the September 2025 residency at the Château de La Napoule, in their Artists’ Echoes series.
During the residency I worked on a soundscape composition begun in November 2024, listening back to field recordings of the water and waves, doors, bells, footsteps, distant voices, boats and traffic that make up the personality of the place — looking for the “music” within them. I also prepared two older interactive installations, Sonic Spaces (the kinetics of sound) and Ghostly Pleasures and Aural Delights, for the Cooldiga Arts Festival in Kuldiga, Latvia.
