As part of the winter edition of the contemporary art festival Les Visiteurs du Soir (Botox(s), Alpes & Riviera contemporary art network), La Napoule Art Foundation invited the public to a meet-the-artist event with me at the Château de La Napoule on February 22, 2026.
Visitors discovered Ghostly Pleasures and Aural Delight, a participatory installation combining sound and image that reacts to the presence of the audience, created in 2011. I also shared the immersive sound work developed from my residencies at La Napoule in 2024 and 2025, where I captured the Château’s sonic identity — waves, bells, footsteps and distant voices — and a discussion provided insight into my creative process, where field recordings, electronic manipulation and synthetic sounds intertwine to reveal the site’s “hidden music.”
